T5 Song A You Tube Hit!!

A HOME-MADE music video mocking the teething troubles of Heathrow's Terminal 5 has proved a big hit on the internet, it emerged today.

The Terminal 5 Song is delivered in a rap style with lines such as: "It's the biggest terminal we've ever seen, It's a bigger disaster, you all know what I mean."

The video shows people queuing, to accompany lyrics including: "The news ain't good, I'm stuck in a queue, After 15 hours, it just won't move."

It is already getting more than 1,000 hits a day on YouTube, has been played on the radio and could even be released as a single, London's Evening Standard reported today.

The video was the brainchild of bridegroom Tim Soong, whose wedding plans were disrupted after British Airways (BA) lost his luggage, including bride Sokha Nhim's wedding dress and best man Andy Baynes' suit, the newspaper said.

The luggage incident happened last year, before T5 opened, when they flew with BA from Heathrow to get married in Italy, it added.

It was eventually found but Mr Soong, an electrician from Kennington, south London, decided to take revenge after allegedly failing to receive compensation for money spent on hotel bills while waiting for it.

He told the newspaper: "BA found our luggage the day before the wedding but it wasn't ideal preparation and we ran up a lot of unexpected bills."

A British Airports Authority (BAA) spokeswoman said: "BAA sincerely apologises for the disruption experienced by passengers during the opening days of Terminal 5."

When groom Tim Soong's wedding plans were thrown into chaos after British Airways lost all his luggage – including bride Sokha Nhim's wedding dress, his suit and the best man Andy Baynes's suit – he could have been just another unhappy passenger fighting for compensation.

But he took the ultimate revenge by making a homemade music video mocking Terminal 5 that is an instant internet favourite.

I Think the Song and Video is Great and should be relased as a Single!!

The luggage debacle took place last year before T5 opened when Tim and Sokha flew from Heathrow with BA to get married in Italy.

To get their own back after failing to get any compensation, Tim, 29, and Andy, 31, wrote the song poking fun at the shambolic opening of T5.
